▶ Meaning:
Mars is surrounded by satellites, a reference to a situation at the time of the much attention that was paid to that planet due to new discoveries. Since it is uninhabited and free of human activities, it is giving its back to the viewer and is fully clothed.
Covid, in the pose of superior to the Earth and looking at Mars, is on top of a coffin - a symbol of the whole situation, not only of the mass death of people, but also of the serious worsening of economic, social and cultural situations. Small viruses are surround it.
Sitting on the ground, fragile, devoid of any protection and connected to a ventilator, is Earth, accompanied by its small moon.
Their palettes were thought to reflect the best way possible the colors of the planets and television representations of the virus.
The burlesque style for the clothes, was chosen for being one of the most characteristic of the theater and for the quite beautiful aesthetic. Thus bringing a dramatic and even theatrical scenario of this pandemic situation, from a fictional moment of an outcome in which the solution would be Mars, leaving Earth behind, in that weakened state, all because of Covid.
